Make sure every cutter has the same length and
edge angles (F32).

(3) Side plate angle
(4) Top plate cutting angle
GUIDE BAR
Reverse the bar occasionally to prevent partial
wear. The bar rail should always be a square.
Check for wear of the bar rail. Apply a ruler to the
bar and the outside of a cutter. If a gap is
observed between them, the rail is normal.
Otherwise, the bar rail is worn. Such a bar needs
to be corrected or replaced (F33).

Only use replacement guide bars and chains that
match exactly the originals supplied with your
machine. Take the old parts to your dealer for
checking and matching. Incorrectly matched parts
may increase kickback forces and increase the risk
of injury.
