To shut down the Cool Boss
:
Stop the flow of water through the Media by pressing the
Cool
button twice. Verify the Pump is
indicating off on the Status Display. The Cool indicator should be off and the Blast indicator
should be on.
If using the 3/4 inch Water Source inlet, close the Valve supplying the water to the Cool Boss.
Dry the Media by leaving the Fan on in the Blast mode.

WARNING Dry the Media at the end of each day to reduce the possibility of bacteria and mold
growth. Running the Fan without circulating water for 15 to 45 minutes should dry
the Media in the majority of cases. Media drying times will vary based on heat,
humidity and Fan speed.
After the Media is dry, reduce the Fan power, then turn off the Cool Boss.
Using the Timer to shut down the Cool Boss :
Stop the flow of water through the Media by pressing the Cool button twice. Verify the Pump
indicates off on the Status Display. The Cool indicator should be off and the Blast indicator
should be on.
If using the 3/4 inch Water Source inlet, close the Valve supplying the water to the Cool Boss.
Press the Timer button until the desired number of hours before shut-down are displayed.
The Cooler will shut down based on the time entered. The available range is 1 to 24 hours in 1-
hour increments.
