PREPARATION FOR USE
Before using the espresso machine for the first time.
It is important to thoroughly clean the appliance before first
use.
1.
The espresso machine comes fully assembled but without
the filter and the holder fitted.
2. Place the espresso machine on a stable, flat, heat resistant
surface and away from surfaces that may be damaged by
steam.
3. Remove all tape used for product transit.
4. Remove the water tank and remove the blue plastic film
from underneath the water tank.
5. Fill the tank with water. Do not fill past the ‘max’ mark on
the tank. Refit the water tank and fold the handle flush.
6. Fit the filter into the filter holder.
7. Offer the filter holder to the brewing head and align the
handle with the ‘unlocked’ padlock symbol (
) on the
front face of the appliance (fig. 7).
8. Move the handle firmly to the right (fig. 8) until it is aligned
with the ‘locked’ padlock symbol (
) on the appliance
(fig. 9).

9. Place a jug or similar onto the cup shelf directly
underneath the brewing nozzles of the filter holder.
10. Ensure that the control knob is aligned with the ‘ ’
position.
