Caprese Pizza with Pesto
Ingredients
•
Heirloom/ Roma tomatoes, sliced (1-2 per pizza)
•
Fresh Basil Leaves, chiffonade

Mozzerella (Ball or Log) sliced (not too large or the pizza will
burn before the cheese has melted.) Make as cheesy as you
like!
•
Pesto (homemade or store bought)
•
Pizza Dough (Homemade or store bought)
•
Olive Oil/
•
Salt/ Pepper to taste
Directions
1.
Start with rolling the dough to fit your pizza pan (Make sure to
have flour on hand so it does not stick!). You can do as thin or

type of pan is needed for deep dish.
2.
Once rolled out, place on your pizza pan.
3.
Lightly drizzle olive oil on the crust. Place Pesto in the middle
of the crust and use a large spoon to spread around the pizza.
Leave about ½ to 1” of space from the crusts edge.
4.
Place tomatoes, mozzarella slices, and basil on pizza. Sprinkle
salt and pepper.
5.
Follow further instructions in the Pizza Oven booklet for
cooking times.
CAPRESE PIZZA RECIPE TIP:
For a fun add on to the pizza drizzle balsamic on top, or make
your own balsamic reduction and drizzle it on top after baking
your pizza to perfection!
