1.  Unfold canopy by pulling up at pivot point to complete the arc.

2.  Partially fold chair before installing canopy.
3.  Move rubber grommets on canopy poles to adjust height of canopy.

5.  Don’t forget to push the foot crossbrace to secure the push-chair frame
      after the canopy is fully installed.

If you intend to use your Special Tomato

 Push-Chair in a motor vehicle, please carefully

review the follow information:

1. The Special Tomato

 Push-Chair has been crash-tested and performed satisfactorily at

30MPH/20g deceleration.  The Dummy weight as tested for the Small Special
Tomato

 MPS in a forward facing configuration was 66lbs /30kg. The footrest leg

knobs provided with the Special Tomato

 MPS must be used to secure the footrest

when being used for bus/vehicle transportation!

2. Push-Chair must be forward-facing.
3. Use only SAE J2249 approved 3-point occupant restraint systems and a 4-point

wheelchair tie-down system.

4. The wheelchair tie-down must be securely attached to the four red anchor points on

the Push-Chair. FFFFFigure 11a.

5. The 3-point occupant restraints must include a shoulder belt attached to the side wall/

ceiling of vehicle, and to the lap belt. The lap belt attaches to the frame or rear
wheelchair tie downs.

6. The restraint system must include a lap and shoulder belt, secured directly to the floor

and side or roof of the vehicle. Thread the lap and shoulder belt between the seat
back and the armrest frame. FFFFFigure 11b.

7. All floor tie-down straps must be drawn tight in the front and the back to eliminate any

forward/aft movement of the Push-Chair.

8. Restraint/tie down manufacturer’s instructions must be followed precisely.

and approved in accordance with ANSI/RESNA WC/19. Therefore you cannot use

them while the MPS Push Chair Kit is being used for bus/vehicle transportation.
