Optional Settings
The thermostat has a number of OPTIONS that the user can change. (*NOTE: Adjust these settings before
programming in the thermostat, becasue changing certain options will erase all programming.)
There are 5 OPTIONS. To begin, press SET CLOCK/DAY/SCHEDULE, then press OPTION to enter the optional
setting mode. Press UP or DOWN to select the VALUE. Once the correct value is displayed, press the OPTION
button again to the next option.
OPTIONAL SETTINGS:
1) 12/24 12- or 24-hour display format
2) CR Cycle Rate setting (select cycle rate to match the heating equipment)
3) HE/HG Fan setting
4) BL Backlight setting
5) RE Pre-comfort Recovery ON or OFFIf new batteries are inserted within 20 seconds of removing the
old ones, the existing time and programs will not be cleared. Otherwise, the display will show 9:00 and
the thermostat will have to be re-programmed.
