Network setup
Contour can be connected to your network using a wireless or wired connection.
We recommend using the wireless connection method, which allows you to
position your Contour anywhere within range of your wireless network. Contour
can be connected to your wireless network using Apple Wi-Fi Network Login
Sharing or manually (see the following page).
To use the wired connection method, connect an Ethernet cable between the
Ethernet port on the back of Contour and one of the available Ethernet ports on
your router before connecting the power. You might want to use this method if you
experience sound quality problems or if your Contour is located near your router.
Network status icons
The display on the front of Contour has two icons to indicate the type of network
that Contour is connected to. If you successfully connect Contour to an Ethernet
network, the icon will display. If you successfully connect Contour to a wireless
network, the
icon will display indicating the signal strength.
Both network icons (
) will flash on the display when Contour is not
connected to a network.
