Step 4 Checking and Changing the Initialization
Setup
Check and change the device name to recognize the device on the driver library.
Checking the device name
(1) Run Device Manager. From [My Computer] - [Control Panel], select [System] and then select the
[Device Manager] tab.
(You can also open Device Manager by right clicking on My Computer and selecting Properties.)
(2) Hardware that was installed is registered under the CONTEC Devices tree. When you open the
devices tree, hardware name that was installed is displayed.
The character string of “VNA000” displayed in the right side of hardware name is the device name.
This device name will be required if programming later.

As the device name is automatically allocated, you can use this name if you wish.
