Interference caused by a wireless network can be avoided by
changing the channel used. Note, also, that dividing the
terminals in the same network into groups different in channel
may improve the data rate.
- Sometimes communication is hindered by attenuation of electric
waves. Attenuation occurs naturally as distance from the source
of transmission increases, but may also be caused by objects in
the path of the transmission. The objects primarily responsible
for attenuation are the following.
- Concrete walls
- Metallic surfaces around antennas
