network performance is degraded unless all the terminals exist

Operation of the FLEXLAN-DS110
This section describes the types of networks configurable with the
FX-DS110-PCC, using basic examples. This product has two
operation modes: ADHOC (Simple) Mode and Infrastructure
(Standard/Brouter) Mode for different network models. To
construct a network with the FX-DS110-PCC only, use it in the
ADHOC (Simple) Moe. When the FX-DS110-APE, the AP
(access point) in the FLEXLAN-DS110 series, is used with the
FX-DS110-PCC, use it in the Infrastructure (Standard/Brouter)
Mode.
Infrastructure (Standard , Brouter) Mode
In this mode, communication is performed always via the AP. The
AP has features (100BASE-TX and 10BASE-T) for connection to
Ethernet, enabling connection between the wireless and wired
networks. The AP has advanced features such as routing and
roaming and allows you to perform all setup and management
easily from within the web browser over the LAN. As the AP has
the SNMP agent feature, network management software such as an
option of “SNMPc” can be used for management.
