The camera gives a short double-beep, the green shooting mark "
Z
"
lights on the LCD monitor and the focus frame turns green to indicate
that the focus has been set.
Holding the camera
With the LCD monitor facing towards you, hold the lens unit with your left hand and the section with the
LCD monitor in your right hand. Take care that your fingers do not obstruct the lens or flash. The camera is
easier to hold if the lens unit and LCD monitor unit are at an angle of between 30° and 45° to each other.

• A flashing shooting mark "
Z
" indicates that the
focus is not set. Press the shutter release button
half way again until the shooting mark "
Z
" stays
lit and the focus is set.
• When the focus frame (

p.73) is set to [MULTI
AF], the selected focus frame turns green.
• There is no focus frame displayed when the
focus is fixed at infinity (Twilight mode, Night
View mode, and Landscape mode).
