Erasing all the images (ERASE ALL)
You can use the procedure below to erase all the images recorded on a
memory card.

Turn the camera on and press the mode
buttons

" lights up on the
mode select LED.

Press the MENU button

to display the menu icons.

Move the selector lever left

to select ERASE MULTIPLE [

] and press

.
The multiple erase screen appears.

Move the selector lever up

to select [ERASE ALL], then press
E
.
A message appears asking you to confirm that you want to erase the
images.

Move the selector lever up

[EXECUTE], then press
E
.
All the images are erased and the "NO IMAGE" message appears.

Important
• You cannot erase protected images (

• When you erase an image with a postrecorded voice message (

p.110), the sound file
is also erased.

Important
If there are images still shown after you use
[ERASE ALL], those images may be protected. To
forcibly erase all the images, format the memory
card. ( "[FORMAT] Initializing a Memory Card"
