Unprotecting an image

Turn the camera on and press the mode
button until "

" lights up on the mode
select LED.

select PROTECT [

] and press the OK

Press the 4-way button left or right to select the image to be
unprotected.
The [
U
] icon is displayed with protected images.

Press the 4-way button up to select
[EXECUTE], then press the OK button

The image protection is removed.

Important
[ERASE ALL] ( Æ p.103) does not erase protected images. However, [FORMAT]
( Æ p.161) erases all of the images on the card, including protected images.

Note
In SINGLE playback mode, press the SCENE button

to view the protection settings
screen. Press the 4-way button up to select [SET] and press the OK button

to protect
the currently displayed image.

Note
• To unprotect another image, repeat steps 4 and
5.
• In GROUP playback, all of the images in a
group of continuous shots are unprotected when
you unprotect an image from a group.
