MOUNTING THE MACHINE
The machine must be screwed to a workbench.
Mark the position of the mounting holes (8)
on the workbench.
Drill holes at each of the marked positions,
adjusting the diameter and depth of the holes to the
screws used.
Place the machine on the workbench and insert
the screws into the mounting holes.
Firmly tighten the screws.
REPLACING A GRINDING WHEEL
To replace the dry grinding wheel, proceed as
follows:
Remove the wheel guard (3).
Loosen the nut (11).
Remove the outer flange (12) and the old grinding
wheel (2).
Clean the flanges (12 & 13).
Place a new grinding wheel.
Place the outer flange against the grinding
wheel and place the nut onto the spindle.
Securely tighten the nut.
Replace the wheel guard.
To replace the wet grinding wheel, proceed as
follows:
Remove the water reservoir (10).
Loosen the nut (15).
Remove the outer flange (16) and the old grinding
wheel (9).
Clean the flanges (16 & 17).
Place a new grinding wheel.
Place the outer flange against the grinding wheel
and place the nut onto the spindle.
Securely tighten the nut.
Replace the water reservoir.
Always unplug the tool
before replacing a grinding
wheel.
Never use a cracked
grinding wheel.
Immediately replace a
cracked grinding wheel.
A cracked grinding wheel
may break into pieces when
used and cause accidents.
MOUNTING AND ADJUSTING THE SPARK
GUARD
The spark guard needs regular adjustment in order
to compensate the wear of the grinding wheel.
Loosen the nut (19) and remove the screw (18).
Hold the spark guard (4) against the wheel guard
(3) as shown.
Mount the spark guard (4) to the wheel guard (3)
using the nut (19) and the screw (18).
Adjust the distance between the spark guard and
the grinding wheel (2) to the smallest possible
value, with a maximum of 2 mm.
Tighten the spark guard.
Slide the screen (5) to the front.
Tighten the nut (20).
