The default value is 4hPa. You can adjust the storm warning sensitivity by changing
the threshold value. The threshold value can be adjusted from 3 to 9hPa.

j) Setting the unit for wind speed and wind gusts
Once you have set the threshold value for the storm warning or skipped this setting,
you can set the unit for the wind speed or wind gust display.
• By pressing +/
- or MIN/MAX, you can select between the units „m/s“ (metres
per second), km/h (kilometres per hour), knots, mph (miles per hour) and bft (Beau-
fort).
• Briefly press SET to switch to the next setup item.
k) Setting the unit for the rain quantity
Once you have selected the unit for the wind speed and wind gust display or skipped
this setting, you can set the unit for the rain quantity display.
• By pr/
- or MIN/MAX, you select between the units „mm“ or „in“ (inch
mercury column).
• Press the SET button briefly to leave the setup function. The base station returns to
normal display mode.
14. Alarm
The weather station has a wake-up alarm and various alarms based on indoor/out-
door data (weather data). For the alarms based on indoor/outdoor data (weather
data), you can set a top („HI AL“) and a bottom („LO AL“) alarm value. The alarm is
triggered by the base station when the top alarm value is exceeded or the bottom
alarm value undercut.
1. The base station must be in normal display mode. The device changes to the
alarm setup function for the top alarm value („HI AL“) when the ALARM button is
pressed briefly. If you briefly press the ALARM button once again, the device
changes to the setup function for the bottom alarm value („LO AL“).
2. Now the display shows an overview of the set alarm values. However, these values
are only displayed if the corresponding alarm function is set. Alarm values for which
the alarm function is not activated are displayed with lines, e.g. „- - -“ or „- -“.
