GW-25:
GW-25M/GW-35M:
GW-25R/GW-35R:
·

Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the guitar amplifier e.g. for damage of the power cable or housing. If there
is a reason to believe that safe operation has become impossible, put the device out of operation and secure it against
any unintended operation (pull the mains plug!).
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible if:
·
the device or the power line show visible damage,
·
the device does not operate any longer
·
the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
·
the device was exposed to extraordinary stress during transport
Before cleaning the guitar amplifier or performing maintenance, the following safety notes must be observed:
When opening covers or removing parts, you may expose live parts.
Therefore, disconnect the device from all voltage sources before performing maintenance work
or repairs.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all voltage sources.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the hazards
involved and the relevant regulations.
If it becomes necessary to replace a fuse, make sure that only fuses of the prescribed type and nominal current are
used (see “Technical Data”).
Do not repair fuses or bridge the fuse holders.
·
After disconnection from the mains (pull the mains plug!), carefully screw out the fuse cap with the defective fuse
from the fuse holder (FUSE) on the back of the device with a suitable screwdriver.
·
Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a new fuse of the same type.
·
Now screw the fuse cap with the new fuse into the fuse holder again.
·
Only then re-connect the device to mains and put it into operation again.
In other respects, the device is maintenance-free. Clean the exterior of the device with a soft and dry cloth or a little
brush only.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or chemical solutions because they might damage the surface of the housing.
