d) Initiating Search for Outdoor Sensors
The weather station can assess and display the radio signal of up to 3 outdoor sensors (one
outdoor sensor is included in the delivery; others can be ordered separately). Every outdoor
sensor must be set to a dedicated channel; see chapter 9. b).
Search for a radio signal must be performed if you want to register another outdoor sensor or
if there are any reception problems or after battery replacement.
Proceed as follows:
• To initiate search for the outdoor sensor radio signal, keep the button “C/F SEARCH”
pressed for about 3 seconds.
• the search takes approx. 2 minutes and is then automatically terminated.
Every outdoor sensor sends a data package with the measured values to the
weather station about every 30 seconds.
Use the button “TX” (15) in the outdoor sensor battery compartment to manually
trigger transmission. This will enable the weather station to find the outdoor sensors
more quickly.
e) Switching Display (Indoor/Outdoor Sensor, Time)
• Briefly press the button “<“ (2) or “>” (4) to switch between display of the measured values
for indoor temperature/humidity, outdoor temperature(humidity of the registered outdoor
sensors and time.
“INDOOR” = Displays indoor temperature/humidity
“OUTDOOR” = Displays outdoor temperature/humidity
• If “on” or “off” is displayed, you can use the button “MODE” to set if the display is to switch
automatically or not:
“on” = Display automatically switches between display of all measured data and time;
“AUTO” is displayed at the right of the display
“off” = Automatic switching is off
During reception attempts for the DCF signal, automatic chance is temporarily
deactivated to avoid interference at reception.
