13. Troubleshooting
In purchasing this weather station, you have acquired a product which has been designed to
the state of the art and is operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems and faults might occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults.
Take note of all the safety instructions in these operating instructions!
Problem
No reception of the
signal of the outdoor
sensors
No DCF reception
Lighting the LC display
is weak
Solution
• The distance between weather station and outdoor sensors
is too large.
• The weather station or the outdoor sensors are too close to
other electrical devices, cables, metal components etc.
• The batteries/rechargeable batteries in the outdoor sensor
are weak or empty.
• A different transmitter on the same or an adjacent frequency
(e.g. another outdoor sensor) is interfering with the radio
signal.
• Place the weather station as far as possible from other
electric/electronic devices, cables, metallic parts etc.
• Wait until the weather station carries out a reception attempt
during the night. The night usually offers better reception.
• Set the time & date manually.
• Replace the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the weather
station or outdoor sensor.
• Cold outdoor temperatures have a negative influence on
the service life of the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the
outdoor sensor.
