never be disassembled.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Do not use any chemical cleaning agents, as they can discolour the plastic casing.

household waste!

Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations at the end of its life.

Remove the battery if there is one inserted and dispose of it separately from the
product.

Disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!

Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled with

the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste is forbidden.
The symbols of the relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead
(marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. underneath the
refuse bin symbol shown on the left).

You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the of

d) Achieving target values

•   If you have programmed a target value when you carried out the settings for the device (see

“Settings”), a graphic display for the progress of the training will appear on the left side of the
display.

•  When the set target value is reached, the display

fl

ashes and a signal is emitted.

The target value was pre-set by the factory to 5,000 steps per day. However, this

value can be set to “0” in the settings menu in order to no longer use this function.

e) Reset

There are three reset types: reset the data for the current day, reset the total memory and reset
to factory settings.
•   In the display of the data for the current day, press the RESET (3) key for two seconds, to

delete the data for the current day.

•   In the display of the total memory, press the RESET (3) key for two seconds, to completely

delete all measured data.

•   Press the RESET key on the back of the housing using a pointed object (e.g. a straightened

paper clip) to reset the device to the factory settings. This will also delete your personal data
such as step length, body weight etc.

The data for the current day will be reset automatically at midnight. However, they

are still stored in the memory for the last 30 days.

Should there be no data recordings for one day, the corresponding day will be saved
nonetheless. In this case, the corresponding data will display “0”.

The oldest data will be overwritten after 30 days so that the memory always contains
the last 30 days.

Replacing the batteries

Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.

Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or domestic animals. If they are swallowed, consult a
doctor immediately.

Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into contact with
the skin. You should therefore wear suitable protective gloves.

Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or
thrown into a

fi

re. There is a risk of explosion!

Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries; there is a risk of explo-
sion!

Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting
the battery.

Remove batteries from the device if you do not require it for a longer period.

•   If the display contrast fades or the device no longer works, the battery has to be replaced.
•  To this end, unfasten the battery compartment screw at the back of the unit.
•   Remove the battery compartment lid and replace the battery by an equivalent coin cell of the

type CR2032. The positive pole must point outwards (see image).

•  Replace the battery compartment lid and screw it back on.

During the battery replacement all data will be deleted.
