Display symbols

Symbol

Meaning

1 H – 12 H

Indicates the time remaining until automatic turn-off in hours

ºC

Indicates degrees in Celsius, appears after the temperature value

Indicates low heating level (1600 W)

Indicates high heating level (2500 W)

Appears when the product is turned on via the remote control or touch-sensitive control

panel

Appears when oscillating action is activated

Notes

•  The + and  buttons work only when the SET button has been pushed and the corresponding value is

blinking on the display.

•  During operation, the display alternates between showing the remaining turn-off time and the current room

temperature. If the automatic turn-off function is deactivated, only the current room temperature is shown.

•  The display dims slightly approx. one minute after the last button was pushed.
•  Once the desired temperature has been reached, the thermostat turns off the heater temporarily. The

heater stops oscillating and the display shows only the current room temperature and the on/off symbol.

•  As soon as the room temperature drops 2 °C below the set value, the thermostat reactivates the heater.
•  After start-up, it takes about 10 seconds until the thermostat is operational. The heater turns on immediately

after start-up. Should the room temperature be above the set temperature (default: 25 °C), the heater may

deactivate 10 seconds after start-up.

•  When the automatic turn-off function is activated, the product will switch automatically to stand-by mode

after the set turn-off time. If the time is set to 0, the automatic turn-off function is deactivated.

•  The display shows LO at room temperatures below -10 °C.
•  The display shows HI at room temperatures above +40 °C.

Anti-tilt and overheating protection

•  The product has an anti-tilt mechanism that automatically deactivates the heating function should the

product tip. Check the product for any damage before continuing use. Set the product back up and turn it

on using the remote control or touch-sensitive control panel. Make sure the product cannot accidentally

tip over.

•  The product has a double overheating protection.

 - In case of improper use (i.e. if the heater vents are blocked), the internal NTC thermistor will turn off the

product automatically should the temperature inside the housing 65 °C. Once the temperature

has fallen below +62 °C, you can operate the product again as usual. This may take up to 30 minutes

depending on ambient conditions. However, before using the product again eliminate the cause that

automatically turned the product off. If you cannot determine the cause contact a professional.

 - Should the NTC thermistor malfunction for any reason, the internal thermal fuse will trip should the

temperature inside the housing 113 °C.The thermal fuse does not reset, once it is tripped the

product cannot be used.
