Getting started
Always follow the safety instructions!
Remove the product from the packaging.
Unwind the cable with the light bulbs. Then, check that every bulb is completely
and firmly plugged into the socket.
The product is accompanied by type plates with warning notes in different
languages. Attach the type plate, with the correct version for your language, to the
fairy lights..
Set up the fairy lights in the desired location.
By using the plastic ring on the cable below every bulb, it can be attached to a
branch or similar, see figure to the right.
Afterwards, connect the mains plug to a standard mains socket.
Changing a Faulty Bulb
• Disconnect the product from the mains voltage. Unplug the mains plug from the mains
socket.
Let the bulbs cool down, danger of burns!
• Replace the faulty bulb by a new one of the same type, voltage and power.
Pull out the faulty bulb up vertically from the fitting. see figure to the right. Then
insert the new bulb into the socket. Make sure it fits correctly.
• Then, connect the product to the mains voltage and check that the bulb is
working.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the product, disconnect it from the mains voltage and disconnect the
power supply from the mains socket. Let the product cool down completely.
Using a dry, soft, lint-free cloth is sufficient to clean the product. Do not use aggressive
cleaning agents as these can cause discolouration.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
