CAUTION:
DO NOT remove the metal funnel while making coffee. After making coffee, wait at least 10
seconds before removing the metal funnel to make additional coffee. Exercise caution while removing the
metal funnel, as the metal parts will be hot. Hold it by the handle and use the filter retention clip to dispose
of the grounds. Caution should be taken when moving the unit while it contains hot liquids.
10.3.3 Customized coffee volume:
The volume of brewed coffee can be adjusted as follows:
Hold down the single-cup or double-cup button. When the desired volume has been reached, release the single-
cup or double-cup button.

The buzzer will sound, indicating that the machine has recorded your desired coffee dose. When you subse-
quently brew coffee, the machine will brew the preset amount (the maximum dose is 120 ml for a single cup
and 220 ml for a double cup).
To clear your settings and restore the factory defaults, hold down the ON/ OFF+GRIND+SINGLE or ON/
OFF+GRIND+DOUBLE buttons.
10.4 Boiling hot water
1. Place a cup under the steam tube to collect the hot water.
2. In standby mode, turn the knob to the hot water position to enter hot water mode.

The hot water indicator light will flash.

Hot water will flow out from the steam wand.
3. To stop brewing hot water, turn the knob to the central position.

The machine will then return to standby mode.
Important:
The maximum water output in hot water mode is 180-220 ml. It is important to use a big enough container
to collect the hot water, or ensure that someone is watching the machine when water is being released.
When you have finished using hot water mode, turn the knob to the twelve o’clock position. If you do not turn
the knob, the hot water indicator will flash as an alarm and other functions will not be available.
10.5 Steaming/Frothing milk
CAUTION:
The steam function generates high-temperature steam through the steam tube. Exercise
caution to avoid scalding during use.
1. To move the steam tube, touch the silicone sleeve that wraps around the steam tube. Do not touch the steam tube.
2. Fill the milk jug (1/3 - 1/2 full) and place the jug under the steam wand.
3. In standby mode, turn the knob to the steam position.

The clean/preheat indicator will flash and the steam indicator will stay on to indicate that the steam function
is warming up.

Wait until the clean/preheat indicator on the right stays constant and the steam indicator light is flashing. The
machine will then enter steam mode.
4. For an optimal milk foam, let the steam runs for 3-5 seconds and then turn the knob to the twelve o’clock position.
Then extend the steam tube into the milk jug and turn the knob to the steam indicator to froth the milk.

The maximum milk frothing time is 5 minutes.

When you have finished frothing milk, turn the knob to the twelve o’clock position.
