Operation

1  Lid (frothing attachment is on the underside)

  Clean the device after each use.

 

Always use fresh milk.

 

Do not repeatedly froth or stir up old contents.

 

The device will switch on only if it is correctly positioned on the base.

 

A LED above the button indicates when the device is switched on.

  Always switch off the milk frother before removing it from the base.
  Do not touch the device during operation in “heating up” mode as it gets very hot.

 

Always grab the milk frother by the handle.

 

After use, unplug the device from the mains socket.

 

Do not leave the running device unattended.

Cleaning

  Always disconnect the device from the mains supply before cleaning.

 

Pull the plug out of the mains socket.

•  Allow the device to cool down before cleaning.
•  Never clean the milk frother or the base by immersing them in liquids such as water.
•  Allow the device and power cord to dry before you use them again.
•  Never use any aggressive, abrasive cleaning agents, abrasive wire brushes or abrasive 

objects for cleaning.

•  Wash the milk tank and the lid with warm soapy water and then rinse with clean water. Wipe it 

dry with a soft towel after each use.

•  Take the stirring insert out of the tank and wash it with warm water, then dry it and store in a 

safe place. Do not clean it in the dishwasher.

•  You can use a damp cloth to wipe the outside of the device.

Troubleshooting

Device produces strange noises:
Check whether the whisk (stirring insert) has been inserted correctly (magnet below).
Milk froth spills over the tank:
Too much milk in the tank.
Check that the correct attachment is being used.
Degraded milk froth quality:
Use whole or low-fat milk at a temperature of approx. 4-6 °C
Check that the correct attachment is being used.
Check the device for cleanliness.
The socket fuse trips:
The power circuit is overloaded. Check whether other consumers with high power consumption 

such as coffee machine (in operation) are connected to this power circuit.

Disposal

  Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household waste. 

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statu-

tory regulations. You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environ-

mental protection.

  Clean the device before using it for the first time. More details can be found in sec-

tion “Cleaning”.

•  Unpack the device and check it for damage.
•  Remove all packaging materials and dispose of them properly.
•  Place the base (6) on a flat work surface.
•  Check whether the desired mains voltage matches that of your device. Relevant information 

can be found in this manual under specifications.

•  Connect the base to the mains voltage.
•  The insert consists of two parts (mixing unit and whisk), which can be combined depending 

on the mode (see illustration).
Use the frothing attachment. It can be found on the underside of the lid. Remove the attach-

ment and place it on the stirring attachment. Then place the complete unit onto the shaft (9) 

at the bottom of the tank.

  Replacement of attachments must always take place in de-energised condition, with 

the device removed from the base.

 

Frothing (tank capacity approx. 125 ml)

 

Stirring (tank capacity approx. 400 ml)

•  Place the milk frother on the base. The milk frother must sit firmly in the contact foot of the 

base.

•  Fill the milk frother with the desired amount of skimmed or semi-fat cold milk (4-6 °C).

  In frothing mode, never fill the device up to or above the lower MAX mark (approx. 

125 ml). If there is too much milk, it can spill over the tank as it expands during 

frothing.

•  Put the lid on the device.
•  When using heating up mode, briefly press the power button (power symbol). The LED 

above the button lights up “red”. The running time is approx. 80-90 s.

•  For preparation without heating, press and hold down the power button for 2 seconds. The 

LED above the button lights up “blue”. The running time is approx. 120 s.

•  The LED above the button lights up as long as the device is in operation.
•  The process can be interrupted by pressing the power button, after which the LED goes off.
•  After process completion, open the lid and lift it off.
•  Grasp the stainless steel tank by the handle. The tank gets hot in “heating” mode.
•  Pour or scoop the milk froth into the drinking vessel.
•  After preparation, rinse the stainless steel tank with clean water.
Cocoa/instant beverages
Use the milk frother to prepare milk, cocoa or instant beverages (cold or warm).
•  Use the stirring attachment.
•  Put all necessary ingredients in the tank. Observe the upper “MAX” mark.
•  Put the lid on the device.
•  When using heating up mode, briefly press the power button (power symbol). The LED 

above the button lights up “red”. The running time is approx. 220 s.

•  For preparation without heating, press and hold down the power button for 2 seconds. The 

LED above the button lights up “blue”. The running time is approx. 120 s.

•  The LED above the button lights up as long as the device is in operation.
•  The process can be interrupted by pressing the power button, after which the LED goes off.
•  After process completion, open the lid and lift it off.
•  Grasp the stainless steel tank by the handle. The tank gets hot in “heating” mode.
•  Pour or scoop the milk froth into the drinking vessel.
•  After preparation, rinse the stainless steel tank with clean water.
