1. Press this button to switch the device on or off.
2. Press and hold the button, to select calibration mode.

Selecting the operating mode
1. Press this button to switch between the operating modes DO (mg/l), DO
(ppm) and O2 (%).
2. Press and hold this button, to toggle the temperature unit between °C
and °F.

Select display: Hold / Max & Min
1. Press this button to freeze a measured value in the LCD display

2. Hold this button, to switch to the maximum/minimum values in the dis-
play mode. Push this button briefly to toggle between the maximum and
minimum values.
3. Press and hold the button to delete the measured value so you can take
a new measurement.

• When you turn the device on, all segments of the LCD display

will appear for a few sec-
onds. Then, depending on the measuring sensor used, a measured value and temperature
will be displayed.
• The status display of the battery

at the bottom left of the display shows the current status
of the batteries inserted. If this symbol flashes, the batteries are flat and must be replaced.

3. Wait 10 to 30 minutes, until the sensor has polarised. The measured value should be ap-
prox. 101.7 % saturation, if the sensor has completely polarised. The value may not reach
101.7 % upon the first attempt at calibration. If the value reaches 85 % you can calibrate
the probe at hand.
