3.5 – INTERFACES
The PSL-AMS actuator has many interfaces inside the Terminal Box. Configuration is via PSCS software or via the local
control panel PSC.2 (Optional on request).
3.5.1 – COMMUNICATION INTERFACES
For communication and parameterisation with a PC or with
a manual device, connect the communication cable to port
RJ45, the parameters of the actuator can be set using the
PSCS software.
3.5.2 – INPUT TERMINALS
3.5.2.1 - Galvanic isolation control signal
The terminals from 1 to 3 are used to receive control
signals which can be parameterised and regulated, for a
control within a range of 0-20 Ma or 0-10 V, split-range is
also possible.
3.5.2.2 - Feedback signal for process control (Optional on request)
The terminals from 15 to 17 are used to receive process
sensor feedback - an optional on request - process
controller, in a range of 0-20 Ma or 0-10 V.
ATTENTION
The following binary inputs (3.5.2.3 and 3.5.2.4 ) have priority over the control signal, if the
actuator is parameterised for a modulating service with control signals, these values are not considered if a
binary input is applied. After disconnecting the binary signal, the actuator will be repositioned according to
the control signal applied.
3.5.2.3 – Galvanic isolation binary inputs
The terminals from 15 to 17 are used to receive process
sensor feedback - an optional on request - process
controller, in a range of 0-20 Ma or 0-10 V.
