Commissioning
Automatic switching:
The automatic level control of the pump switches on when the set cut-in level has been reached
(145 mm) and switches off at the set cut-out level (50 mm).
Manual switching:
When the Hand/Auto switch is set to the Hand (manual) position the pump switches on as soon as the
electrical supply has been connected.
ATTENTION!
To avoid personal injury, or damage to the pump, disconnect it from the power supply before
removing or fitting the suction ring.
Venting:
Under certain conditions an on-site vent hole is required, which means anywhere where the pump
housing (a) cannot be permanently submerged in the fluid, such as in a drainage shaft with open shaft
bottom.
ATTENTION!
The 3 mm diameter vent hole may only be drilled at the marked position (b) as shown in figure 1.
Violations can permanently damage the pump and put it out of operation.
