INSTALLATION OF THE APPLIANCE
•
Defects caused by improper installation are not covered by the warranty.
•
Installation is the responsibility of the customer not the manufacturer.
•
The manufacturer bears no responsibility for damage caused to people, animals or property due to incorrect
installation.
•
Do not place the appliance under the direct sun shine.
•
Placing the appliance into suitable furniture ensures its proper functionality.
•
The appliance is installed in standardized kitchen furniture designed for built-in appliances or in properly adapted
furniture of dimensions according to Fig. 3. The dimensions in the table are given in mm.
Connection to the mains
•
Make sure the mains voltage and current protection correspond to the values on the rating plate of the appliance.
We recommend using a separate outlet with a 16 A circuit breaker.
•
Only use grounded sockets.
•
Do not use multiple sockets, plugs and extension cords. There is a risk of overheating.
•
The plug of the power cord on the appliance must be freely accessible even after the installation.
•
Changes in a connection may only be performed by a qualified professional.
•
Electrical safety of the appliance can be guaranteed only if the protective terminal of the appliance is connected to
the protective conductor of the mains.
•
The manufacturer bears no responsibility for damage to persons or property as a result of missing or bad protective
connection.
•
The power cord must be positioned in a way that it is not deformed or excessively bent.
When installing the appliance, follow these steps:
1. Remove all the packaging and marketing materials before first use.
2. The required dimensions of the cabinet for the installation are shown in Fig. 3. To provide an effective air circulation
around the appliance, ensure there is a sufficient space.
3. Put the power cord through the rear wall of the furniture so that the plug is accessible after installation.
4. Carefully insert the whole refrigerator into the cabinet at the chosen location. Make sure not to cause damage to
the mains plug or to the mains cable.
5. From the front legs of the refrigerator, pull the limiters (levelling feet) to the maximum position and push the
refrigerator into the desired position.
6. Ensure that there is no gap between the upper levelling cover and the cabinet.
7. Screw the front legs and the upper levelling cover of the refrigerator to the cabinet with the screws.
8. Return the limiters (levelling feet) back to the starting position.
9. Make sure the door (upper cover plate) closes completely.
10. Fit the plastic screw caps into the upper levelling cover.
11. Open the door (upper cover plate) to the maximum position. Then open the freezer door to the maximum angle
– as much as possible to the door (upper cover plate).
12. Pull the plastic parts for fixing the upper cover plate into the starting position.
13. Screw the upper and lower plastic part to the upper cover plate.
14. In the same way, screw the plastic parts to the cover plate also at the refrigerator door.
15. Fit the plastic screw caps on the plastic parts attached to the cover plate.
16. Place the sealing tape between the refrigerator and the cabinet.
17. Check whether the refrigerator and freezer doors open and close smoothly.
18. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
