Before using the Gate Step, read these
installation instructions and familiarise yourself with the
system and process of its use.
This installation manual presents the basic information and
describes precautions involved in the use of the product.
Please adhere to the instructions in this manual for your
own safety and the safety of others. Failure to observe the
instructions may lead to damage to the system and
vehicle, injury to users of the system and vehicle.
It is the responsibility of the user to make sure that the
completed vehicle, with utility bed and accessories,
conforms to all regulations and applicable laws of the State
or Territory in which the vehicle is to be registered.

Gate Step WARNINGS:
1 - Maximum l

capacity for the Gate Step is
300lbs/136kg.
2 - Never exceed the maximum permissible loading of
the Gate Step.
3 - Do not rest loads onto the Gate Step or use other
than as intended by the manufacturer.
4 - Always have the vehicle in Park (or First Gear) and
the Handbrake engaged when using Gate Step.
5 - Be aware of potential pinch points and stay well clear
when opening and closing step.
6 - Never attempt to modify the Gate Step.
7 - After

se, always place the Gate Step in the transport
position.
8 - Check the locking mechanism is properly located.

Always maintain 2 or 3 points of contact with the
vehicle and you are physically able to step up into the
bed.
10 - Where ever possible, avoid climbing onto the back of
the vehicle for your own safety and never remain on the
bed while the vehicle is in motion.
