8.4.3 Passwords
The Passwords option configures the access passwords for the router. Access to
your DSL router is controlled through three user accounts: root, support, and
user.
z
“root” has unrestricted access to change and view configuration of your DSL
Router.
z
"support" is used to allow an ISP technician to access your DSL Router for
maintenance and to run diagnostics.
z
"user" can access the Router, view configuration settings and statistics, as
well as, update the router's software.
Use the fields below to enter up to 16 characters and click Apply to change or
create passwords.
