Chapter 12: Configuration

The system configuration console provides all the detailed settings with regard to camera connection, video 
analytics, storage, network, etc. The system configuration console can be accessed by clicking the Setup (wrench) 
icon in the utility panel and choosing “Setup” from the fly-out menu. The system configuration console contains 
several tabs (System, Camera, Detection, Schedule, User, IO, Alert, Storage, Network). Click on any icon on the left-
hand side of the system configuration console to switch to a different tab. The followings are the explanations of the 
8 tabs in the system configuration console.

System Tab

System Settings

• 

Schedule Reboot:

 Enable or disable scheduled reboot. Go to the "Schedule" tab and schedule a system 

reboot operation first before you enable this option.

• 

Login at Startup:

 Check this option to require user login before entering ComproView®.

• 

System boot into monitor mode:

 When checked, this option allows ComproView® to enter monitoring 

mode automatically after a user logs in. Besides, if you opt for adding ComproView® to the startup folder 
of your Windows system during the installation of ComproView®, enabling this option will allow you to 
launch ComproView® and start monitoring right away after the system starts up.

• 

Show setup wizard at startup:

 Check this option to display the quick setup wizard after logging into 

ComproView®.

• 

Enable system hint:

 Check to enable system message.

• 

Loading Limitation:

 When checked, this option allows the system to automatically adjust video frame 

rate for better balancing system loading.

General Settings

• 

Language:

 This allows you to change the language of user interface.
