INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Purpose of use
Device, suitable for cooling the food and beverages.
This device was designed for a 12 V car socket (cigarette lighter) or conventional 230
V power supply.
The cooling system of this device is based on thermoelectric basis of Peltier's pheno-
menon, with a fan cooling system, free of any freons.
Turning the unit ON:
·
Select the cable according to the required power supply (12 V or 230 V). Plug it into the
appropriate socket (12 V plug into the car lighter socket, or 230 V plug to 230 V mains).
·
Starting the car engine when using 12 V is recommended.
·
Turn the main switch to the position Normal.
·
The cooling box will slowly start to cool its contents.
·
Achieving the specified cooling temperatures depends on ambient air circulation and espe-
cially on its temperature.
Cooling:
The best cooling results are achieved, when filling the box with food and beverages (in hygi-
enic packages) which has been precooled, for example, in the refrigerator. They remain
cool and continue to cool even more if you keepp the unit on. However, the cooling box is
not a freezer!
When keeping device ON for a long time, it can reach a temperature 15 - 20°C lower then
the ambient temperatures (measured at ambient temperature of 25°C).
Choose a well ventilated place that is also protected from sunlight and other heat sources.
Do not open the cooling box more often, than necessary. Clean the inner lid seal periodi-
cally.
ECO mode:
Turning the main switch to ECO, activates environmental friendly mode, that can save
energy consumption considerably (A++). When you let the ECO mode turned on for longer
period of time, the cool box can achieve temperatures about 6 - 10°C under the ambient
temperature. (measured at 25°C ambient temperature).
Maintenance of the device:
Unplug the power cord, before cleaning!
For hygienic reasons, wipe the box with a sponge (slightly soaked in a mild detergent solu-
tion) before first use. Then, clean the interior with a sponge soaked in clean water and wipe
it dry.
Wipe the box with soft cloth to avoid scratching of the surface. Use a soft cloth soaked in
non-aggressive detergent to remove stronger dirt. Never use scouring side of dish sponge,
solvents, or alcohol when cleaning.
Warning: Never clean the appliance under running water or in dishwasher.
