Here is a list of SME (Subject Matter Experts) to assist you in gathering the technical information you need
for writing the various topics for the Users Manual and the Getting Started Guide. Engineering SMEs can
also assist in getting some lab time for testing those processes that need to be validated. They will
participate in the first and second topic review to determine technical accuracy and completeness. If you
would like to be introduced to an SME or if you are having problems reaching any of the SMEs, please let
the Documentation PM know immediately. The PM can help you schedule these meetings.
The Product Marketing SMEs will assist with the messaging that Compaq wants to convey in their
documentation and will participate in all topic reviews including the final review. Sarah Elkins will have final
signature authority for BTO documentation and Kelly Townsend will have final signature authority for CTO
documents.
As You schedule your meetings, make sure that you include both Engineering SMEs & Product Marketing
SMEs. Also be sure to let the Documentation PM’s know of the meetings.
