Removal and Replacement Procedures

5. Turn the computer right side up with the front of the computer facing forward.

6. Open the computer as far as it will open.

NOTE:  

With the display open and the battery pack and hard drive removed, the weight

of the display makes the computer susceptible to being easily tipped over.

7. Peel off the keyboard warning label from the keyboard and remove the two screws

securing the keyboard to the computer (Figure 5-31).
