Getting Started
2.1.1
Case Layout
The Mercury 8-Line pager has four buttons on its case.

--- Read Key

LCD Screen
The Mercury 8-Line Wall Pager contains a backlit, 8-Line, alphanumeric LCD screen.
Each line is 21 characters long. The screen can also be zoomed to 4 lines giving a larger
font, but fewer characters per line.
2.1.3
LED’s
There are five LED’s on the front panel. The LEDS functions are:
1.
Power
– Will illuminate when the charger is plugged into the unit
2.
Low Battery
– Will illuminate when the internal battery voltage becomes low
3.
Emergency
– Will illuminate when an urgent message is received
4.
Out of Range
– Will illuminate when the unit detects that it has fallen out of
range. (no carrier detection for some period of time)
5.
Message
– Will illuminate when there is an unread message waiting

Antenna
The high gain antenna is screwed on to the connector on the side of the product.
