Commissioning
Read and observe the health, safety, and property damage warnings as well as the
description carefully to avoid mistakes and proceed step-by-step as described.
•
Attention
: Do not operate the PSR without terminating the antenna connectors.
The antenna connectors may be terminated by connecting them to their
respective antennas or to a dummy load.

Notice
: Only qualified personnel should carry out the electrical, mechanical,
commissioning, and maintenance activities that require the unit to be open.

Ensure that all connections have been performed according to chapter
4.2.3

To safeguard correct operation, a device that guarantees uninterruptible power
supply (e.g. an appropriate BBU/UPS) has to be connected to the PSR (see
chapter 4.2.10).
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by
CommScope, CommScope’s general limited
product warranty (

) shall be the
warranty governing the PSRs, including the installation, maintenance, usage and
operation of the PSRs.
4.1. Mechanical Installation
4.1.1. Health and Safety for Mechanical Installation
Caution:
Risk of injury by the considerable weight of the unit falling. Ensure there
is adequate manpower to handle the weight of the system.
Caution:
Risk of serious personal injury by equipment falling due to improper
installation. The installer must verify that the supporting surface will safely support
the combined load of the electronic equipment and all attached hardware and
components. The screws and dowels (wall anchors) used should also be
appropriate for the structure of the supporting wall.
Caution:
Explosive atmospheres. To avoid explosion or fire, do not operate this
equipment in the presence of flammable gases or fumes.
Caution:
Lightning danger. Do not install or make adjustments to this equipment
during an electrical storm.
