The EFTPOS LITE terminal requires the input
of a password for all refund transactions.
The terminal allows you to set two refund
limit levels (operator and manager) to help
you control who has access to the refund
facility and provide greater protection against
fraud. For further protection, the Bank has
also set a maximum terminal limit. You will
need to contact the Bank to process refund
transactions above this limit.
The manager password can process all
refund transactions up to the terminal limit
or a lesser amount set by you whilst the
operator password can only complete those
refund transactions up to the limit you set
for operators. For example if the operator
limit is set at $50.00, all refund transactions
under this amount can be processed by
inputting either the operator or manager
password whilst any refund transactions
above $50.00 and up to the set limit or the
terminal limit can only be completed with
the manager password.
