Manufacturer’s Reference:

A Counter Intercom System consisting of GEC881/GEC882 and PA24W15V fulfils the requirements of the 
EU-standard 89/336/EEC.

Application:

With regard to the CE mark, the Counter Intercom is suitable for the following types of application: residential
buildings, office and commercial premises, small businesses and industrial premises with public low-voltage mains
supply.

Therefore this equipment is CE-labelled.

Cleaning the station

Use a damp cloth to clean the station when required. Do not use water, liquid detergent or paper towels to clean the
station!

PRECAUTIONS

To prevent defects, do not expose the station to rain or moisture. Do not open the station. Refer servicing to qualified
personnel only.

Do not connect ethernet devises! This can damage the operator staion and / or the enternet devices

Do not use the station near water, e.g. near a bathtub, pool, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet
basement.

Do not place the station on an unstable cart, stand, or table. If the station falls, it can injure a person and cause
serious damage to the appliance.

Do not install the station in a location near heat sources such as radiators or air ducts, or in a place subject to direct
sunlight, or excessive dust or mechanical vibration or shock.

Mounting and installation of the Counter Intercom GEC 880 and of the equipment may be carried out by authorised
service personnel only when the power supply is unplugged.

The counter intercom GEC 880 may be opened only in electrostatic protected areas.

On the bottom of the station a label displays the station type and serial number for reference.

Please keep this description in safe custody!

Please do not give users / operators access to this manual. This will prevent “de-parametrisation“ by the
customer and may you some on-site service lookups.
