AINTENANCE
In addition to daily maintenance tasks, use an ash vacuum to
clean the inside of the firebox.
Remove the firepot from the pot holder and vacuum beneath.
Be sure to remove any ash from the incoming ignitor tub
e.

In addition to daily and weekly maintenance tasks, the lower
exhaust housing cover plate should be removed and vacuumed
thoroughly.

This may require a hose adapter to reach inside the exhaust
housing. This should be done monthly, or with every 2-3 tons of
fuel burned.
IMPORTANT NOTE: A HOLE
CAN
BE CUT IN THE
GASKET
USING A UTILITY KNIFE TO ACCESS THE housing. THIS
WILL ALLOW YOU TO REUSE THE GASKET

Note:
There is a Combustion Motor Gasket, which
allows you to remove the motor from the
Combustion Blower housing, clean your stove, and
replace the motor and gasket without having to
remove the entire Combustion Blower. However, if
you must remove or replace the entire Combustion
Blower, a new blower flange gasket should be
added between the blower flange and the steel
exhaust tube.
