System Configuration
STEP 1
(
DVR
DVRNS Server)
: Register the unit
name and IP address of the DVR during the NETWORK
– DVRNS setup. This unit name and IP address will
be registered on the DVRNS server directly.
STEP 2 (WebGuard
DVRNS Server):
Request
the IP address of the DVR using the registered unit name
of the DVR you want to connect to.
STEP 3 (DVRNS Server
WebGuard)
: The
DVRNS server notifies WebGuard of the requested
IP address.
STEP 4 (WebGuard
DVR)
: Connect to the target DVR using the IP address returned from the DVRNS
server.
NOTE: You should follow steps 2 to 4 whenever connecting to the DVR because the DVR name and IP
address might change at any time.
CLIP PLAYER
Disconnect the USB device from the DVR and connect it
to your PC. You do not need to install any special software
on your personal computer to review the video. The copied
clip contains the Player program and can be viewed on
computers running Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or Vista.
Double click the target clip to start the Player program.
The ClipPlayer Screen displays the clip images.
Playback and Layout Buttons:
: Select to go to the beginning of the video clip.
: Select to play the video clip in fast forward.
: Select to play the video clip in fast reverse.
: Select to go to the end of the video clip.
: Select to go back one frame of the video clip.
: Select to play the video clip.
: Select to change the screen layout to 2x2.
: Select to go forward one frame of the video clip.
: Select to set up the Clip Player properties.

: Prints the current image.
–
Frame Info.
: Displays Channel, Title, Time, Type, Size and Resolution information about the image.

Image Processing
: Controls brightness, blur and sharpness of playback images. (Single-Screen
Layout and Pause Mode Only)

Play Speed Control
: Changes the playback speed (Play) or fast forward/backward playback speed
(FF/RW).

Drawing Mode
: Selects the draw mode level. If you are not sure about the best draw mode level for
your system, try each level until the image displays properly.
