INSTALLER CONFIGURATIONS
This section is aimed at qualified technicians who, after
installing the product, will program the porter switchboard
using guided menus, which can be viewed on the display by
navigating the main menu.
C1 - Type of switchboard (Simplebus Top mode)
The switchboard may be secondary or main.
• Set
Simplebus
when the switchboard is used as
secondary, as output from the LM-LM terminals of
switching devices Art. 1424 (Simplebus TOP system) (see
is used in Simplebus systems with switching devices Art.
1224A or in a system with a single riser and no switching
devices.
CAUTION! the secondary switchboard cannot be
configured as a switchboard in parallel.
• Set Simplebus top when the switchboard is used as main
in a Simplebus top system, and therefore positioned
upline of switching devices Art. 1424 marking the zones/
The secondary or main switchboard must then be configured
as:
1- SINGLE
2- PARALLEL
3- SERIES.

when the switchboard is the only one in the
system, or the only one serving a specific riser.

If there are 2 main or secondary switchboards serving
the same riser, the parallel configuration means that both
switchboards will be operating with the same functions
(see
).

The first of the two to answer a call will preclude
the possibility of the other one performing the same
procedure.

If one of the 2 devices is switched on or off, the other
will automatically follow suit.

1424), both main and secondary switchboards are present
