Making Calls

4.1

Calling Outside The System,

•

To dial an outside call manually,

— press button to select line or select line

group (see section 4.11 for more information about selecting a
line group),

— listen for dial tone,
— dial number.

NOTE: Selecting a line is not necessary if the installer assigned a

prime line to your telephone; simply lift handset and listen for
dial tone before making a call.

•

To automatically dial a number,

— press the pre-programmed button of the number you wish to

dial.
