CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE VACUUM CLEANER
When machine has no enough suction the star filter is dirty; to clean it switch off the motors and shake the
lever as shown in (figure 12). If the star filter is damaged disconnect the plug from the source of electricity,
unhook the tank latches and remove the head and the dust filter from the tank and replace it. To empty the
tank, lift the tank lever (figure 13), move the tank itself on the wheels (figure 14) and empty it (figure 15).
To position again the tank push downward (figure 16) the lever
ATTENTION!
Before performing any cleaning and maintenance on the vacuum cleaner, always disconnect
the plug from the source of electricity. Make sure that the cable is not cut or damaged (if it is, apply to the
nearest authorized service centre for replacement). You’ll get the best performances following if you:
a) Clean the tank, do not let it stand for a long time with dust.
b) Clean the cloth filter frequently.
c) Always use only original replacement parts and attachments.
TROUBLE-SHOOTING
The motor is built for maintenance free operation and does not need any particular service. The carbon
brushes may need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear caused by using the vacuum cleaner over
time, and they can be replaced only by our authorized service centers.

PROBLEM:
The machine does not work. CHECK the following points:
a) Check if the plug is connected to the source of electricity.
b) Check if the switches are on the ON position.

PROBLEM:
The machine does not have enough suction. CHECK the following points:
a) The star filter may be dirty. lf it is, clean or replace it.
b) The suction hose may be obstructed. lf it is, turn off the vacuum cleaner, and then remove the
cause of obstruction.
c) The tank entry may be obstructed. lf it is, turn off the vacuum cleaner, and then remove the
cause of obstruction.
