16. Release the locking plates
holding the ribbon cables
in place on all the
connectors.
NOTE: Too much force doing this could
result in breaking the locking plates, so
care is required.
17. Remove the 4 x M3 Pan
Head Screw holding the
Main Board in place.
18. Lift the board away from
the scanner, and remove
the CIS cables by pulling
them away from the board
as you lift it out.
19. Refit the new board using
the 4xM3 Pan Head
screws. Make sure none
of the cables are trapped
behind the board as it is
put in place.
