Dust extraction
Dust from materials like lead paints, some wood types
and metals may be hazardous to your health. Skin
contact or inhala琀椀on of that dust may result in allergic
reac琀椀ons and/or respiratory illness of the operator or
other personnel in the vicinity.
Speci昀椀c types of dust (e.g. oak or beech wood) are
carcinogenic, speci昀椀cally in conjunc琀椀on with addi琀椀ves
for wood treatment (chromate, wood preserva琀椀ve).
Materials containing asbestos must only be processed
by specialists.
Always use a dust extractor when processing mineral
substances (昀椀lter class "M").
For best results, use the recommended Collomix high-
performance dust extractor with this power tool. This
extractor with 昀椀lter class "M" is cer琀椀昀椀ed for the ex
-
trac琀椀on of 昀椀ne par琀椀culate.
Ensure su昀케cient ven琀椀la琀椀on of the work area.
The use of a respiratory protec琀椀on mask with 昀椀lter
class P2 is recommended.
Connec琀椀on:
Create an air-琀椀ght connec琀椀on between the extrac琀椀on
hose of the extractor with Ø 35 mm and the extractor
connector on the protec琀椀ve hood.
Comply with the following instruc琀椀ons when work
-
ing with the dust extractor:
Only work with the product combina琀椀on of power
tool and speci昀椀ed diamond cup disk recommended
by Collomix, and the Collomix extractor of class "M".
This will guarantee op琀椀mised dust extrac琀椀on and
work process.
Read the separate opera琀椀ng manual for the extractor,
and take par琀椀cular note of the cleaning, maintenance
Operation
Pivotable main handle
and 昀椀lter replacement instruc琀椀ons.
Ensure to empty the dust extractor regularly. Use the
s琀椀pulated plas琀椀c dust bags to prevent the dust from
entering the environment.
Always wear hearing protec琀椀on, protec琀椀ve goggles,
dust mask and protec琀椀ve gloves while working.
Only work with the main handle (13) engaged.

The main handle (13) can now be turned 90° to
both sides and can be engaged.

Make sure that it is securely positioned: the main
handle (13) must be engaged and it should not
be possible to move it.
Note mains voltage speci昀椀ca琀椀on!
The voltage
data provided on the type plate must match the volt-
age of the power source. 230 V devices can be oper-
ated with 220 V or 240 V power sources.
Switching ON/ OFF
Always guide the machine with both hands.
Switch on 昀椀rst, then guide the accessory to
-
wards the workpiece.
Avoid inadvertent starts: always switch the
tool o昀昀 when the plug is removed from the mains
socket or if there has been a power cut.
In con琀椀nuous opera琀椀on, the machine con琀椀n
-
ues running if it is forced out of your hands. There-
fore, always hold the machine with both hands using
the handles provided, stand securely and concen-
trate.
A昀琀er switching o昀昀 the machine, only place it down
when the motor has come to a stands琀椀ll.
Temporary ac琀椀va琀椀on

Switching on:
Slide the lock (10) in the direc琀椀on
of the arrow and press the trigger switch (11).

Switching o昀昀:
Release the trigger switch (11)
Con琀椀nuous opera琀椀on (depending on features)

Switching on:
Slide the lock (10) in the direc琀椀on
of the arrow, press the trigger switch (11) and
keep it pressed. The machine is now switched
on. Now slide the lock (10) in the direc琀椀on of the
arrow once more to lock the trigger switch (11)
(con琀椀nuous opera琀椀on).
