grinding, tasks involving wire brushes, polishing

recommended by the manufacturer.
The fact that
you may be able to mount accessory to the power
tool does not mean that its safe use is guaranteed.

The permissible rota琀椀onal speed of the tool in

sert must be at least as high as the max. speed
stated on the power tool. Any accessory that
rotates at a higher speed that permissible, may
break and 昀氀y o昀昀.

The outer diameter of the tool insert must match
the measurements provided for your power tool.
Incorrectly dimensioned tool inserts can not be
appropriately shielded or controlled.

Diamond cup wheels and 昀氀anges must 昀椀t exactly
onto the grinding spindle of your power tool.
Any
tool inserts that do not 昀椀t exactly onto the grind

ing spindle of your power tool will rotate uneven-
ly, will vibrate severely, and may result in a loss of
control over the power tool.

Never use damaged tool inserts. Check the dia-
mond cup wheel for cracks, wear or deforma-
琀椀on before each use. A昀琀er a fall, the power tool
or tool insert must be checked for any damage;
never work with damaged tools. Once you have
checked and inserted the tool insert, ensure that
you and other personnel in the immediate vicin-
ity remains outside the reach of the rota琀椀ng tool
insert, while running it at max. speed for one
minute.
Damaged or faulty tool inserts will usu-
ally shear o昀昀 during this test phase.

Wear your PPE (personal protec琀椀on equipment).
Depending on tool applica琀椀on, wear eye protec

琀椀on or protec琀椀ve goggles. Wear a face mask,
hearing protec琀椀on, protec琀椀ve gloves or a special
apron to protect you from small grinding or mate-
rial par琀椀cles as needed. Protect your eyes from
昀氀ying debris generated in various applica琀椀ons.
The face mask or respiratory protec琀椀on used
must be designed for 昀椀ltering the dust generated
during tool applica琀椀on.
Prolonged exposure to ex-
treme noise levels may result in a loss of hearing.

Ensure that other personnel in the vicinity remain
at a safe distance to your work area. Any person-
nel entering the work area must be wearing rel-
evant PPE.
Workpiece debris or broken tool inserts
may 昀氀y o昀昀 and cause injury outside the immediate
work area.

Only touch the power tool at its insulated grips
when carrying out tasks in which the tool inserts
could compromise hidden power lines or the
power tool's own power cable.
Contact with a
live line will conduct electricity through the metal
parts of the power tool and may result in electro-
cu琀椀on.

Keep the power cable away from rota琀椀ng tool in

serts.
Should you lose control of the power tool,
then the power cable could be cut or snared, and
your hand or arm could be drawn into the rota琀椀ng
power tool.
