Safety
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
- farm houses
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type enviroments
- bed and breakfast type enviroments
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
1. Make sure that the voltage used is suitable for the appliance. Refer to the
manufacturer’s specification label.
2. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended
and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
3. Always remove the whisks/dough hooks before cleaning. They could cause
personal injury if the appliance should start accidentally.
4. Be careful when removing the whisks/dough hooks from the appliance.
5. To avoid electric shock, protect the appliance and its power lead from moisture
or wetness.
6. Never rinse or put the electric hand mixer in water or any other liquid!
7. Never lay the power lead over hot surfaces or sharp edges and corners.
8. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply by holding and pulling
the plug, do not pull the power lead.
9. The power lead should be regularly checked. Never use appliances with faulty
or damaged power leads. The power lead should only be replaced by a qualified
tradesman.
10. Never let children use the appliance without adult supervision.
11. Make sure that the parts of the appliance are correctly assembled and that the
appliance is switched off when it is connected to the power supply.
12. Never use the appliance without anything in the container.
13. Never use the appliance in the vicinity of other sources of heat e.g. the cooker.
14. The appliance is for indoor use only.
15. Never use accessories other than the ones included.
16. Never use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
17. Allow the beaters to stop completely before being removed from the paste,
cream, etc.
