CHECK DURING DRIVING
■
Immediately Stop the Engine if
:
⚫
The engine suddenly slows down or
accelerates.
⚫
Unusual noises are suddenly heard.
⚫
Exhaust fumes suddenly become very white.
While driving, check the following items to see if
all parts are functioning normally.
[1] Fuel gauge
[2] Coolant temperature gauge

Fuel Gauge
Park the vehicle on a flat place.
Turn the key switch to “On”, the fuel gauge will
indicate the fuel level.
Be careful not to fully empty the fuel tank.
Otherwise air may enter the fuel system.

Coolant Temperature Gauge
CAUTION:
To avoid personal injury:

Do not remove radiator cap until the
coolant temperature is well below its
boiling point. Then loosen cap slightly to
relieve pressure before removing cap
completely.

With the key switch “ON” the temperature
gauge indicates the temperature of the
coolant. White Zone for “cold” and Red zone
for “hot”.
2. If the indicator reaches the Red zone, the
engine coolant is overheated. Check the
vehicle by referring to the
“TROUBLESHOOTING” section.
[1] Hour meter
The hour meter indicates in five digits the hours
the vehicle has been used; the last digit
indicates 1/10 of an hour.
The speedometer indicates the traveling speed.
