Ceramic Hotplate Hot Zone

When using the ceramic hotplates at temperatures over 180

O

C, the base of

any vessel must not make contact with the ceramic plate top outside of the

hot-zone - this is to avoid damaging the ceramic hotplate surface.

Note: Modular heating blocks are not suitable for use with ceramic top

hotplates
