Care and maintenance
Cleaning
• Always switch off and unplug the dehumidifier from the wall
socket before cleaning it.
• Clean the exterior of the dehumidifier using a lightly
moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals. Wash and rinse out
the water tank at regular intervals. Make sure that it is
wiped dry before refitting it.
Filter
If the filter is very dusty, it should be removed and vacuum
cleaned (see fig.).
Storage
Before putting the dehumidifier away for storage, make
sure that it is unplugged and that the water tank is empty
and dry. The dehumidifier should be stored in a dry, dust-free
environment out of children’s reach.
