61. After programming it is always necessary to SET FACTORY DEFAULTS so that the
machine is running with valid data. On start-
up the ZMCU’s memory is scanned for
corruption or misalignment and if detected it will prompt the user to set the factory defaults.


Press ESCAPE to ignore or press ENTER to confirm where it will then advance you
to within the SET FACTORY DEFAULTS menu where you can select the defaults you
require.

NOTE: The corrupt FRAM warning only occurs when the structure of the memory is
not correctly in place and therefore is most often utilised for uninitialized boards. It is not
guaranteed to trigger on each programming of the board so it’s important to remember to
set the defaults regardless to ensure the machine works as expected.
